amoroma, dreams & creations by Géraldine Vincent
My name is Géraldine Vincent. I’ve been an interior architect for over 15 years, and studied at La Cambre in Brussels. Passionate about architecture, design, and fashion, I love creating spaces where form meets function. Every detail matters, from custom joinery and bespoke furniture to handcrafted metalwork and lighting, everything must contribute to a coherent whole.
I spent three formative years at Jean Nouvel’s studio in Barcelona, interspersed with summers dedicated to collaborative micro-architecture projects in Malawi, East Africa.
Back in Belgium in 2011, I worked for a year at Tempora, focusing on scenography and museum design, before launching my own practice. Interior architecture allows me to blend creativity with human connection and collaboration with talented artisans.
Vision & values
amoroma creates elegant, versatile bags designed to complement a dynamic, modern lifestyle. Inspired by architecture and design, my approach focuses on pure, balanced lines, where every shape has purpose. Modularity, comfort, and simplicity are the essence of each piece ; true to the spirit of less is more.
An idea born in Rome, a bag made to last

2015
From sketch to first creation
In July 2015, during a trip to Rome with my daughter Azur and my husband Sébastien, who is also an architect, the idea of the perfect bag came to life. My current bag was falling apart, and I longed for a piece that could keep up with my demanding, multifaceted lifestyle. I envisioned a modular design, a tote large enough for A3 documents that could instantly transform into a more compact A4 size. The first sketch of the One was drawn together, four hands, one vision. That idea evolved into our first models, and more would follow: like a sleek A4 bag that folds into an A5 clutch.

2016
From Rome to Brussels, the pursuit of craftsmanship
Our journey began in a small Roman leather workshop. With little Italian and lots of hand gestures, we explained the concept to Louisa, a passionate artisan. Her first prototype wasn’t perfect, but it gave us the foundation to keep going. Back in Belgium, I created a 3D model using repurposed VAE plastic to demonstrate the potential of the design.

2021
From Belgian artisanship to recognition by a renowned French brand
Eventually, I found a skilled Belgian craftswoman who embraced the challenge. Together, we developed numerous mockups, from imitation leather to salpa, leading to the first leather prototype. This journey led me to present my project to a renowned leather goods brand.

2023
Towards production, Italian leathercraft between tradition & innovation
Between 2023 and 2024, I collaborated with Atelier Kerico in Brussels and with Keren, a renowned expert, to finalize the technical patterns. Together, we created the first piece — the final prototype ready for production. With Sara, who develops accessories for major designers like Ann Demeulemeester, we selected two exceptional leather workshops in Florence.
a name, a story, an identity

The origin of the name amoroma, a tribute to Italian leathercraft
A name rooted in the city where it all began and in love : love for craft, for material, for thoughtful design.
Then comes the magic of the palindrome : amoroma reads the same both ways, just like our creations, made to adapt, to transform…
A perfect echo of the brand’s spirit : free, modular, and timeless.

Innovation & design
Together with Michaël d’Udekem from SI Studio, we developed a unique handle concept with integrated magnets. First designed in SketchUp and 3D printed using recycled plastic, it is then covered in leather.
Its slightly tapered shape, more comfortable than a classic circle, reflects our ergonomic design philosophy. The magnetic system also allows for bi-color variations — in harmony with our iconic two-tone identity.

Craftsmanship
At amoroma, we celebrate craftsmanship of the highest order to create lasting, meaningful objects for everyday use.
Each bag is produced in small batches (50 to 100 units per model, per season) in specialist workshops in the Florence region, renowned for their skill and precision.
Every piece is shaped by expert hands, ensuring exceptional quality and respect for traditional techniques.

Noble & responsible materials
Leather — sensual, structural, and flexible — is essential to the transformative nature of our designs.
Our hides come exclusively from cows raised for food, sourced from Tuscan tanneries that share our ethical values. While chrome tanning is still used to preserve quality, we pay close attention to waste management and recycling.

Timeless elegance & modern functionality
Pure geometric forms, circular handles set within rectangular structures…
amoroma bags are inspired by the clarity of line drawing — a pursuit of harmony and simplicity.
Each piece is designed to keep pace with modern life, with radical, uncompromising style.

A perfect balance of design & Italian craftsmanship
amoroma accessories are crafted with precise proportions, refined textures, and a subtle interplay of grained and smooth leather. Their structure — both rigorous and flexible thanks to specific assembly techniques — allows for freedom of movement and built-in modularity in every design.

A distinctive graphic signature at the heart of Italian leathercraft
The interior lining of select models is crafted from jacquard fabric featuring the amoroma Cold Grey–Black motif. This exclusive pattern, designed from the stylised “R” of amoroma, has become a signature element of the brand’s identity.
The circle, a strong visual identity of the brand, appears in our handles, buckles, and in the silhouette of the Round clutch
